DJ Buddha

Some DJs play the party. DJ Buddha invents it. The man behind Desi Deep House and Desi Afro House has spent years rewiring how Dubai dances, fusing Bollywood soul with global club rhythm until the two feel like they were always meant to be together.

His résumé reads like a festival line-up. He opened for A.R. Rahman at Expo 2020 Dubai, played Untold, Dubai's first mega festival, and holds residency at AKS Nights. Every week, he takes over the airwaves with House Party on City 1016, the UAE's biggest Bollywood station. He has shared stages with Arijit Singh, Sidhu Moosewala, Badshah, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Atif Aslam and Yo Yo Honey Singh, and released music on Zee Music, T-Series and 9XM.

Then there are the parties only he could dream up: Buddha & Friends, Dubai's only Bollywood techno coffee party, and Farzi Sangeet, the fake wedding that went viral. Winner of the Tally MSME ePreneur ICON 2025 award, a Middle East Masala Awards nominee for Best Asian DJ, and a guest lecturer at the Emirates Media and Communication Institute, DJ Buddha is proof that the best nights out start with an idea.

One-liner: The Desi house pioneer who opened for A.R. Rahman and turned a fake wedding into Dubai's most talked-about party.
