RJ Parikshit (Parikshit Balochi)

Every weekday, the UAE wakes up laughing. Parikshit Balochi, City 1016's award-winning breakfast-show host, is the funniest start to a Dubai morning, and one of the most recognised voices in the Gulf.

His story began in Jodhpur, where he was the only man selected from around 8,000 hopefuls for the city's first private radio station. He moved to Dubai in 2010 and never looked back. Since then he has interviewed Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, hosted the IIFA and TOIFA red carpets, and shared stages with A.R. Rahman, Arijit Singh and Sonu Nigam. He also holds a Limca Book of Records entry for a 195-hour live radio broadcast.

Off air, he is an award-winning travel creator who has ticked off more than 100 countries, and he was named Filmfare Middle East Travel Blogger of the Year. Emcee, cricket fan, sneaker lover and dog parent, Parikshit is 142,000 followers' favourite way to see the world.

One-liner: City 1016's award-winning breakfast voice, Bollywood's favourite interviewer and a travel creator with 100+ countries on his passport.
